DESIGN BRIEF:
Our client was introduced to us through their builder. Our brief was to achieve a large-scale renovation and extension with a desired Classic Luxe Hamptons style in mind, located in the historic old Bunbury, WA.
OUTCOME:
Together, we created a classic style home that’s modern in aesthetics and technology, but timeless in design, and pays homage to the original Art Deco architecture. By working closely with our client’s builder, we were able to use locally sourced South West products, suppliers, and artisan trades, and were able to make this home a truly unique South West renovation.
We kept the original Art Deco cornice and ceiling roses and worked these references into the new extension for continuity. Marble, stone, and chrome finishes were used throughout the home, as well as the classic look of shaker style doors. The house really does evoke a sense of opulence and luxury, a high-end renovation that compliments the original 1940’s architecture. Needless to say, our client is absolutely thrilled with the outcome, and so are we.
